Homelessness Prevention Programs

VWTH can provide counselling and short-term financial support to women who are at risk of becoming homeless after leaving their violent partners. Women with limited financial resources can apply for assistance in the form of rent supplements, damage deposits, moving and storage costs and other possible barriers to housing. Support from VWTH donors helps fund a Housing and Outreach Worker to meet with the women and support them in their transition to next-step housing.

Please contact VWTH Housing and Outreach Support at (250) 592-2927 ext#234.
