Delete Browser History
Protect Yourself – Erase Your Online Tracks
Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge and click on “Settings and more” (three dots) > “History.”
- Click the garbage can in the top right of the dropdown panel.
- From the Time range list, choose the desired time range.
- Check the box next to “Browsing history,” “Cookies and other site data” and “Cached images and files” and click on “Clear now.”
Firefox / Mozilla
- In the menu, click on Tools.
- Click on Options.
- Select Privacy
- Click on Clear next to Cache. This will clear your browser’s cache.
- Click on Clear next to History. Files. This will clear the pages you’ve recently visited.
Safari
- From the Safari menu select Empty Cache
- In the new window, click the Empty button. This will clear your browser’s cache.
- From the History menu, select Clear History. This will clear the pages you’ve recently visited.
Google Chrome
- At the top right, click More (three stacked dots)
- Click History > History
- On the left, click Clear browsing data. A box will appear.
- From the drop-down menu, select how much history you want to delete. To clear everything, select the beginning of time.
- Check the boxes for the info you want Chrome to clear, including “browsing history.”
- Click Clear browsing data.
Internet Explorer
- In the menu, click on Tools.
- Click on Internet Options.
- In General Options under Temporary Internet Files, Click on Delete Files. This will clear your browser’s cache.
- Under History, Click on Clear History. This will clear the pages you’ve recently visited.
