24 HOUR CRISIS LINE: 250.385.6611

The Crisis Line provides support and information and can lead to emergency housing for women (cisgender and transgender) and non-binary and two-spirit people who identify as part of the women’s community, with or without children and who are currently experiencing intimate partner violence and abuse. Family, friends and professionals can also call for support and information.

Staff and volunteers are caring, knowledgeable women who provide information about resources in the community, help to create safety plans for women at risk of physical violence, and help women create plans to make safe choices.

Accessing VWTH programs and services

Every woman’s journey will be different, but this illustration shows how one client may access multiple VWTH services, and for most, the Crisis & Information Line is the starting point for their journey towards a more hopeful future.
