Chanterelle Arbic is running the 47km Juan de Fuca Trail to break the silence around intimate partner violence and abuse. Chanterelle describes how she was 5 years old the first time she experienced domestic violence. Throughout her childhood she witnessed and suffered abuse. As a young woman she has been working to heal herself, and overcome some of the harm she has suffered. The Victoria Goddess Run is a community of women and girls who come together to celebrate their stories, goals, and challenges. More than a run, it is an opportunity to connect and inspire each other. Victoria Women’s Transition House is thrilled to have been selected as one of three 2022 charities of choice. You can register for the 5K or 10K run as an individual or as part of a team.
