Volunteering at Transition House
I’m amazed at the number of volunteers and the help they provide. They made me feel so supported and took a load off me during a difficult time.
Our volunteers are critical links to the women we serve, they are the voice on the phone that offers hope, the people who cook warm meals and play with children, and the quiet presence behind the scenes who help with essential tasks throughout the Shelter.
Transition House always needs committed, experienced and passionate volunteers to help in the Shelter, on the Crisis Line, or on our Board of Directors.

To ensure our clients’ safety, all volunteers take part in a training program and undergo a Criminal Record Check.
