Kinetic Construction

In 2007, Kinetic Construction chose VWTHS as the recipient of funds from their Golf Tournament Fundraiser and Christmas Program. The staff and organization generously donated over $10,000 to VWTHS along with toys, gifts, and food for women and children at Christmas.

Drs Ansel and Christina Updegrove and staff from the Updegrove Chiropractic Clinic held their second annual evening of Health & Wellness for Girls and Moms, with over $500 raised for Transition House!

The staff of Licorice for Hair worked tirelessly to organize Faux Real Hair and Fashion Show at the Metro Theatre in November. This very successful event raised over $4,500 for VWTHS!

Staff of Opus Framing and Art Supplies on Herald Street fundraised throughout the month of December, raising $4,278! Thank you to all who donated! Manager, Marsha Arbour, also matched the donation with a $4,278 store credit for the Art Break Program at the Shelter.

In 2008, Investors Group Downtown supported VWTHS through the Victoria Ladies’ Charity Golf Tournament. In November, Jackie McMath and her staff chose VWTHS as one of their charities of choice and presented Sara and Chris with a cheque for $3,500.

Urge Tattoos and Elite CleanersElite Cleaners & Urge Tattoos

Lara Slayerwhite of Elite Cleaners organized staff at the neighbouring Urge Tattoos in conjunction with Fools Car Club, and all spent MANY hours organizing family and friends leading up to Christmas to ensure the holidays were brighter for six families who received hampers.
